After installing the gears I wanted to go back to the racetrack. The timeslips are pretty disapointing. As
you can see they're no better (some are worse) than our last time at the track. Judging from the 60 foot times
it would seem that traction is a major problem. I missed third gear on the first run so the E/T stinks. What
I can't figure out is the 92.47 MPH and 94.39 MPH on two of the low 15 second runs. I'm still wondering about
the timing system at Carlsbad. It seems to me that the car should be running faster. I'll do some research
and we'll see.
The car was run in street trim with a half of a tank of gas. I started off with the fuel pressure at 36 psi and
timing set to 10 degrees. For the last two runs the fuel pressure was increased to 39 psi.
