Corporate
Computer Centers, Inc. Presents
Hot Chip Racing
Corporate Computer Centers' Hot
Chip Racing Team competes in timed track events throughout
California and Nevada with the National Auto Sports Association
(NASA), Speed Ventures, and the Touring Car Racing Association (TCRA).
The Hot Chip Racing #146 1999
Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Michael Schriber, took first place
in the 2002 Speed Ventures' Corvette Challenge (STOCK2 Class) and
is one of the top five speed record holders for Spring Mountain
Raceway in Nevada. In
2003, Hot Chip Racing introduced our new 2002 Pro
Fabrication Sports Racer Sedan. This lightweight race
car has a tubular chassis with integrated roll cage and a full
fiberglass body. Weighing only 1200 pounds and powered by a
Kawasaki ZX-11 four cylinder DOHC engine producing 140 horsepower,
our 2003 car has a better power to weight ratio than our Corvette
and offers significantly better braking and lateral acceleration.
Last year, we ran the 2003 Open
Track Challenge with title sponsorship from Fujitsu Limited.
The Open Track Challenge (OTC) is a multi-day endurance event sponsored by Grassroots Motorsports
and sanctioned by NASA. We won our class and in 2004, we'll
be going for two in a row!
