Looking to get away?  Look no further!  A secluded mountain getaway with spectacular views is now available at a very affordable price.  This wonderful cabin above Baldwin Lake at the east end of Big Bear Valley offers terrific lake, mountain and ski slope views.  It's private too with the closest neighbor being more than a quarter mile away.  This location receives just enough snow in the winter to have fun without getting stuck.  Summer weather is glorious with hiking trails and nearby access to Forest Service roads for backcountry adventures.  Big Bear Lake and the ski slopes are less than fifteen minutes away.  Close enough to be convenient, but not too close!

This is not one of your typical tired old mountain cabins in need of a lot of TLC.  This cabin, built in 1993 is fresh and ready to enjoy.  It comfortably sleeps six and has plenty of room for more.  The cabin sits on a quarter acre double lot with room to build a second cabin.  The adjacent parcels are all unoccupied and undeveloped leaving lots of room and solitude.

As you can see from the pictures, this is the sort of place you look forward to spending time in.  The wood burning stove puts out plenty of heat and you can't beat the glow of a nice fire on a cold day.  Both futon couches turn into beds and are very comfortable.  The dining room table comfortably seats six and can be expanded with the included leaf.  The bedroom is large and inviting with plenty of room to relax (there is an electric baseboard heater right behind that comfortable chair).  The bathroom has an upgraded Toto low flow toilet with soft close lid (no more banging).  There are wall controlled ceiling fans in both the main room and bedroom.  All appliances and furnishings are included except the master bedroom mattress and the framed artwork on the walls.

The cabin features dual pane windows throughout and removable storm windows on the west side.  The front door is also equipped with a storm/screen door.  There is a wireless alarm system installed.  The sub-floor area offers large amounts of additional storage and comes complete with a propane grill, a snow shovel and several sleds.

In the moonlight outdoor picture below you can clearly see Snow Summit lit up on the right and Bear Mountain on the left.  Visible at the bottom of the picture is the second foundation ready for an additional cabin.
